Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of student management in improving student discipline at SMP Negeri 02 Pronojiwo. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies involving the principal, teachers, and student affairs staff. The data analysis technique consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that student management at SMP Negeri 02 Pronojiwo is implemented through a participatory management system that prioritizes deliberation in every decision-making process, starting from the admission of new students to the enforcement of school rules. Student discipline is formed through the integration of holistic evaluations that assess not only academic aspects but also behavioral consistency monitored through dynamic school regulations. Furthermore, the study finds a balance between strengthening science literacy and spiritual values in the coaching process, creating a school environment that is orderly, effective, and conducive to achieving overall educational goals.
